About Us

Our
Story
What began with my wife and her family processing deer for our families in the MANSHED has grown into something much bigger. Those early days were about more than meat; they were about tradition, stewardship, and doing things the right way. Processing our own harvest wasn’t just practical - it was a way to honor the animal, provide for our family, and pass down knowledge that mattered.
As our family grew, so did our passion. Today, we process deer, wild hog, and other wild game, continuing the same hands-on approach that started it all. Hunting and processing have become a meaningful part of life with our three daughters—teaching them responsibility, respect for the outdoors, and the value of knowing exactly where their food comes from. Every step, from field to freezer, happens at home and with intention.
But this mission isn’t just about our family.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn how to process their own meat safely, confidently, and ethically. That’s why we’re committed to teaching others by sharing knowledge, skills, and encouragement with those who want to become more self-reliant and connected to their food.
At the heart of what we do is community. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, teaching a first-time hunter, or bringing families together around shared skills and traditions, we exist to build something lasting. A place where knowledge is passed down, not lost. Where families and friendships grow stronger. And where processing your own food becomes a source of fulfillment, connection, and purpose.
This is more than meat processing—it’s a way of life.
